BridgeFest Color Run & Dance Party!

Celebrate Dance, Celebrate Johnstown & LET’S SET A WORLD RECORD

JCB DanceWorks is Celebrating National Dance Day with the inaugural

BridgeFest Color Run & Dance Party

Join JCB DanceWorks for the first annual BridgeFest Color Run & Dance Party, in honor of National Dance Day.

This day full of activities starts with a short, fun, Color Run over two of the city’s historic bridges – Minersville and Clara Barton.

Next, we’ll all gather for a heritage march across the Minersville Bridge, re-creating a similar event in 1994.

Here, we’ll attempt a WORLD RECORD for the “Largest Crowd Dancing Across an Historic Bridge.” Guinness World Records has been invited to make it official. We need EVERYONE IN THE REGION to participate!

Then we’ll all move across the street to St. Mary’s Pavillion for free, family-friendly dance performances. Lunch will be available for purchase at the Flair of Country Food Truck, which will be on-site.

The only fee is for participating in the Color Run. All other activities are free and open to the public. Proceeds support JCB DanceWorks, which has undertaken a million-dollar fundraising campaign to expand programming for dancers of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds.

Let’s join forces to promote dance, and the fun, healthy, family-friendly, benefits of all forms of movement.
